WE ARE NOW LEARNING IT WAS A WOMAN AND A 12 YEAR OLD BOY, SO IT’S NOT CLEAR RIGHT NOW EXACTLY HOW THIS HAPPENED. BUT THE MOORE POLICE DEPARTMENT DESCRIBES THIS AS A SWIFT WATER RESCUE INVOLVING TWO CARS, ONE OF THEM WEDGED UNDER THE BRIDGE. THERE AGAIN, THE MOORE POLICE DEPARTMENT SAYING A WOMAN AND 12 YEAR OLD BOY GOT SWEPT AWAY. SO IT STARTED AT APPROXIMATELY 9:00 LAST NIGHT. THE MOORE POLICE DEPARTMENT, ALONG WITH OTHER AGENCIES, ASSISTED THERE IN THE SWIFT WATER RESCUE INVOLVING TWO VEHICLES. ONE OF THEM DID LEAVE THE ROADWAY AND WAS SWEPT UNDER THAT BRIDGE. AT THE TIME OF THE INCIDENT, ALL BUT TWO PEOPLE WERE RESCUED. AND AGAIN, REALLY SAD THAT WE HAVE TO REPORT THIS MORNING THAT IT WAS A WOMAN AND 12 YEAR OLD BOY WHO WERE FOUND. THE WATER WAS SIGNIFICANTLY HIGHER THAN WE’VE SEEN IN RECENT YEARS, AND NEVER REALLY HAD ANY FLOODING IN THIS AREA AND THIS PARTICULAR INTERSECTION. BUT WE DID TONIGHT. Police: 2 bodies recovered, 3 people rescued after Moore flooding
The identities of the two deceased victims weren't released as of 1:50 a.m. Sunday.

One of those vehicles ended up on top of the other.Police said two people were inside of the vehicle on top, and they were both able to get out and to safety. The driver of the truck was an adult male, and the passenger was believed to be his child. The age of the passenger was not available. The second vehicle that was underneath the truck had three people inside and was believed to be a family. The Moore Police Department confirmed on the scene near SE 12th Street and S Eastern Avenue that two vehicles went off the road. One of those vehicles ended up on top of the other.
