I’m 3 weeks and 1 day in as an account manager with +WeCreate Media. Here are 3 things I’ve learned:#1 - Allow yourself to be part of the team! In my previous career, I had a “lone wolf🐺 ” mentality (I know: wolves are pack animals and are not usually alone ). Here, I have no option except to join in. I am so much better professionally and personally when I allow the team to show me another angle!B - I don’t have to know/do everything as fast ⚡️as possible. I have this toxic ☠️ trait of wanting to prove to the world that I can do it! And I can do it faster than you expected! 🦸♂️ The team and leadership here have this fabtastic(you read that correctly) way of guiding me at a pace that supports a longview while also allowing my type A to come thru. Lastly - look to the potential in you, your teammates, and the biz overall. We spent almost 12 hours off site yesterday brainstorming some future stuff. I’ve come out of that more motivated and excited about what’s next than when I started 3 weeks ago. Anywho, I’m just over here thankful 😊, driven 🏎️, and stoked 🤘.

I totally relate to B! When I started at my new job I had to really work to lean into being a “student”. It was tough but my team is so helpful and they just want me to succeed so that helped me overcome needing to be the fastest, smartest, etc.Sounds like you’re enjoying the journey 😀

Been a minute since I posted from the practice. Love this one. Some of my clients think that taking that break will ruin their momentum, but oh baby, it’ll do just the opposite! Take that break and then get back in the game!
