Really. Nice use of one's time. I mean, did the internet run out of p*rn or something?

How dare you even think that.....

Auuuugh! :hairpull: Monday can't come soon enough. Also has a little Pink Floyd and AC/DC. Pulled from N4G.com whoever they are.
Spoiler:
I'm gullible as hell, but I knew right away this couldn't be true. Way too many damn good songs/bands in there. :(

Here's why the NG4 list is wrong:
Chop Suey and Everlong in "Solid".
Yeah right, both drum parts at least I would rank as near impossible.
argh923 | 07-09-08 12:50 PM |
If "Eye of the Tiger" is seriously in RB2...that's awesome.

Okay then, I'm glad it wasn't my reading comprehension that was suspect. :)

I have decided that any track listing that doesn't include Turbonegro isn't worth reading.
orderandlaw | 07-09-08 03:14 PM |
Here are ten confirmed tracks:
* "Ace of Spades" by Motörhead
* "Everlong" by Foo Fighters
* "Pinball Wizard" by The Who
* "Panic Attack" by Dream Theater
* "Any Way You Want It" by Journey
* "Chop Suey" by System of a Down
* "Kids in America" by The Muffs
* "Give It Away" by Red Hot Chili Peppers
* "Hello There" by Cheap Trick
* "Pump It Up" by Elvis Costello

Man, Iplayed the Vault version of Working Man last night, and it was tougher than I expected. Could have been I haven't picked up the drums sticks in a few weeks, but a couple sections had me flustered for some reason.
And I'll be damned if I didn't enjoy one of those Disturbed songs I got for free. The one section (on hard) with the constant kicks and strange hand section was a f*cking blast. I picked up the pattern on that easily and it flowed out so smoothly.

Does anybody know what this Rock Band release is and what does it contains that is being advertised in Future Shop online here in Canada?
devilshalo | 07-09-08 03:35 PM |
Since you can't get DLC on the Wii and PS2, it's a disc of tracks that were offered.
LorenzoL | 07-09-08 03:36 PM |
Oh, I see. Thank you.

I wonder if "Fuel" by Metallica hasn't popped up as DLC yet because of the GH: Metallica game? I'd imagine they will be GH exclusive from now on?

Harmonix has stated that all existing contracts with Metallica were unaffected by the GH:Metallica thing. Therefore, Fuel should be safe, as well as their new single, and any other songs they may have gotten their hands on.

That fake list is so much better than the other "real" one. Its missing a few good ones (Survivor, Duran Duran) but it was far superior. Oh well :(

Hopefully it also includes some of their good songs.

I agree...that new 'fake' one has so many songs I'd love to play I can't believe it...

That's another suck-ass thing about douches creating hoaxes. Wishlists are always going to trump actual setlists, and it creates the possibility of a letdown.
And speaking of baseless rumors that at least sound interesting, in GameDaily's RB2 preview the open with they following snippet:
Despite the tremendous amount of weekly downloadable content (including upcoming packs from Nirvana and The Who), it was only a matter of time before a sequel to the incredibly popular Rock Band was announced.
http://www.gamedaily.com/games/rock-...ew/7360/20600/
No idea what they base it on, but I found it interesting, mainly because one of the things I'm watching for with the official word on RB2 is whether or not they'll have another big launch pack of DLC. Again, I'd say that a portion of the "leaked" songs sure look better suited for DLC.

I thought I read in one of the previews that they were going to be stepping up the amount of DLC with RB2, as if 4+ songs a week isn't enough for them.
Hey, I'm not going to complain!

Anybody heard anything about that Stage Kit that was supposed t come out?

Gamestop.com's got it coming out on 8/15. I hope it's awesome, but I'm not holding out much hope for it.

If they can sync it to the music it could be cool, other wise a waste of money.

Supposedly, it does sync. I don't know if it's only to on-disc songs or what though.
If it turns off the light when Bang Camaro says "Lights out!" in Rock Rebellion, I'll probably pass out from the awesome.

New article in the newest Game Informer has a lot of the same information we've heard over the last couple weeks, but also a couple new things and explanations of others.
- The mic on the guitar is for calibrating. Hold the guitar up to your speaker on the calibration screen and it will auto calibrate.
- Custom setlists can be as big or as small as you like.
- You can set up a custom setlist and just have it run in the background (like a music video). No charts, just the band playing the songs.
- Drum trainer has 78 patterns to help people learn better rhythm and technique.
- Confirmed list is expanded.
Avenged Sevenfold - Almost Easy
Billy Idol - White Wedding, Pt. 1
Bon Jovi - Livin' on a Prayer
Cheap Trick - Hello There
Dream Theater - Panic Attack
Elvis Costello - Pump it Up
Foo Fighters - Everlong
Joan Jett - Bad Reputation
Journey - Any Way You Want It
Motorhead - Ace of Spades
The Muffs - Kids in America
Rage Against the Machine - Testify
Red Hot Chili Peppers - Give It Away
Social Distortion - I Was Wrong
Steve Miller Band - Rock N Me
System of a Down - Chop Suey
The Who - Pinball Wizard
- New drum kit looks f*cking amazing! Pads are not straight across anymore. The red and green pad are lower and off to the side. There are also three cymbals, and the kick pedal looks like the high-hat pedal I've seen sold on eBay. the new set does not look friendly for lefty-players, but hopefully things can be reconfigured fairly easily. (EDIT: The cymbal expansion is an additional purchase, and has a crash, ride, and high-hat). (EDIT 2: This is all the ION kit)
- Expansion slots on the drums to make them compatible with other games (cross-compatibility!!)
- Limited edition real Fenders that have been gutted and refixed with RB hardware will be available.
- They're teamed up with ION and will release an even better drumkit. You can unplug the game controller from the ION kit and plug in a "drum brain" and turn the kit into an electronic drum kit.
f*ck!! I WANT IT!
