Publisher's summary
The Resistance Pact's attack on the Supremacy's ally world, Jassem, has succeeded in taking the Jax out of the fight—for now—and as the newly appointed commander of the 15ths 1st Fighter Squadron, Ku makes preparing his pilots for the inevitable next battle his top priority. With its defensive forces scattered to protect its allies, though, the Resistance Pact's homeworld of Solienne has been left open to attack, and the Supremacy swoops in to capture it. Solienne's deployed units—including the 15th on Tobe—are left to fend for themselves. When Ku is injured in the fierce fighting there, he learns his piloting career with the Soli Aerospace Forces is over, and hes forced to settle on a career with the Qaletaqa, his peoples revered special operations force. But before he can start there, he has a much more demanding taskhe must become Wanikiya, the long-awaited Preserver of His People.

Ryland Grace is the sole survivor on a desperate, last-chance mission - and if he fails, humanity and the Earth itself will perish. Except that right now, he doesn't know that. He can't even remember his own name, let alone the nature of his assignment or how to complete it. All he knows is that he's been asleep for a very, very long time. And he's just been awakened to find himself millions of miles from home, with nothing but two corpses for company.

And in a world where love and sex are forbidden, where it’s hard to distinguish between friend and foe, he meets Julia and O’Brien and vows to rebel.

Jazz Bashara is a criminal. Well, sort of. Life on Artemis, the first and only city on the moon, is tough if you're not a rich tourist or an eccentric billionaire. So smuggling in the occasional harmless bit of contraband barely counts, right? Not when you've got debts to pay and your job as a porter barely covers the rent. Everything changes when Jazz sees the chance to commit the perfect crime, with a reward too lucrative to turn down.

Rise of Humanity
In the fifth millennium, Humanity has made it... ... they have settled the galaxy! This feat was only possible through the help of the Kantaki, insectoid aliens who possess the technology of faster-than-light space travel. Two superpowers, the Consortium and the Alliance, rule over the vast human empire. In the year 421 of the new era, the leader of the Consortium, Rungard Valdorian, wants only one thing: to become immortal, as the biological treatments that prolong his life no longer have an effect. Though he's wealthy beyond imagination, it isn't enough to buy more time.

And their name is.

The wall just didn’t look right. Alex has been trying to cope. Life after his deployment had been rough. His ex-wife thought he needed to stop disappointing their daughter. She was right. He would try harder. With six hours before his little girl’s fourth birthday party, he saw the anomaly. One wall was too short. Plenty of time to tear out a panel and look behind it. He found a brick wall. His house wasn’t made of brick. Behind that was another just like the first. He still had time. When the second wall came down, Alex stood and stared at the shining doorway.
