The artist himself gives tours of his aluminum castle & collection of art made from recycled items.
This place was such a hidden gem! The family that owns it is a great family. Their heart is in it. Listen closely to the tour. I visisited with my two children 10 & 12 and they got many of the well written puns that flow with the art work- if I say more, I'll spoil it! The grounds are well kept, and beautiful for pictures. The boat on a moat/ pirate ship restaurant was homey, clean, and old Florida. The food was great, southern style. We loved the ice cream desserts, we had after the tour. . Angie was our server and she was the kindest, the other waitress was super kind too, the service was great. All clean! It was touching to get to talk to the staff and owners. One of my favorites was right before they end the tour you'll see a beautiful dining room with a door to nowhere. I highly recommended this place for a family, friends or date night. Go before July ends!

Unique place to go. Alot of Solomons own artwork on display. Very creative metal and wood work. A huge antique car collection and great food.
Cyndi B — Google review
CASH ONLY. Staff was not very friendly, plus everything is overpriced, you’d think you’d get more for your money. There is a lot of cool art to see including the massive aluminum castle in the middle of the property.

Solomon's Castle was a unique and cool experience. Solomon's metal art showcased in the castle was impressive, and the creativity extended to a fascinating ship restaurant. The addition of a gift shop and a lighthouse added to the charm. However, the $35 price tag for a single tour seemed a bit steep, especially considering the remote location. We opted out of the tour due to the cost, but the overall atmosphere and Solomon's artistic touch made it a memorable visit nonetheless.
Brianna S — Google review
Amazing artwork! The "corny" humor some have commented on are exactly what the artist scripted for the guides to say about his art. It was endearing, like your dad's jokes... punny for sure. We went with friends who had been before and wanted to go again. There is a lot to see. Nice area to walk around outside. You can take all the pictures you want-- outside only. The Café is pretty good. We did go see the classic cars on the Encore tour. Very nice vintage Fords 1930s and older in great shape and some other makes. Highly recommend both tours!!

Great place to visit. May be difficult for young kids. The tour guides were excellent! Well worth the adventure.

Far away, LOVED the museum and history, no pictures in the castle! Lunch on the boat in the moat, was good! Bring cash or check, NO CREDIT CARDS. All the staff was very nice and friendly! That alone would bring me back! see it once, you will enjoy it!!

The castle has very interesting architecture, the materials are mostly from recycled items. The most unique aspect are the 100's of amazing metal sculptures and wood block paintings made by Mr Solomon. He was a genius. There is also an extensive collection of pre1935 vintage autos kept in 2 separate buildings. He built a large wooden boat which holds a restaurant where visitors can eat lunch. Additionally there is a very nice outdoor patio where you can also eat lunch in nice weather. The food is very good and reasonably priced.

We had a delicious lunch at The Boat in the Moat, followed by an informative and humorous tour of Solomons Castle. Cindy was our tour guide and did a great job of showing us all there was to see. It's one of those unique places everyone should visit at least once. We'll definitely go back for lunch again in the future.

One of the most surprisingly awesome places to spend a few hours. In the middle of nowhere but worth the 1.5 hour drive from Tampa. The 45 castle tour is awesome. Howard Solomon was a legend, albeit gotta imagine a lot for most people. Hell of an artist. Boat restaurant on the property serves a great lunch. Gift shop is a bit weak, wish they had some reproductions of his art for sale. Overall tho can't recommend this place more for a random visit. A+++++

Circle B Bar Reserve, located southeast of Lakeland, is a picturesque natural area that has been restored to protect the floodplain portion of Lake Hancock. The reserve offers unpaved trails for hiking, roadways and trails for biking, and fishing opportunities along Lake Hancock. It's an ideal destination for nature enthusiasts who can spot various wildlife such as alligators, armadillos, raccoons, bobcats, and bald eagles while exploring the gently winding hiking trails.
Circle B is my new happy place. Despite being only feet away at times from large alligators (whether you see them or not), the trail by the lake is incredibly peaceful. This is a great spot to get some steps in on the trails, spot and photograph wildlife in their natural habitat, or just take a break from your hectic life to reflect and appreciate nature.Yes, there are a ton of alligators sometimes on the trail itself, but as long as you give them the respect they deserve they won’t bother you. There are plenty along the “alligator alley” trail but if you keep going on the marsh rabbit run trail you can see many more LARGE gators sunning themselves on the beach just on the other side of the canal. The whole park is full of different types of birds but I highly recommend the boardwalk with a gazebo on the lake that affords an excellent opportunity to see large ospreys and eagles grabbing a meal.I gave the trail 5 stars but keep the following in mind:- There are no water stations along the trail so bring a full bottle before you start your hike.- parking can get crowded at the entrance. Even when the lot is full however the trails themselves never seem crowded.- certain trails can be closed due to a variety of reasons. This is especially true during alligator mating and hatching seasons (typically in the spring and summer) when alligators are known to be aggressive (as I said outside of these periods they’re incredibly chill as long as they’re not provoked).Overall this place is truly a hidden gem and one of the best places in the state to see Florida in all its natural beauty.
Casey L — Google review
I go here to be with nature and my thoughts with God. Everything just slows down as you enter the gates (speed is 15) and gives you time to breathe, walk and think. I notice most others slowing down and enjoying the alligator and special bird/animal/plant sightings…I take photos that look professional almost because everything is so beautiful in its simplicity. As I walk, I like to imagine the original owners walking the dirt roads and what they were thinking…and when my family come from Texas and wants to see an alligator (lol), this is my “go to” place to take them.
Leighnae H — Google review
This is the most lovely place! It is so peaceful and not a bad walk around the various trails around the park. This place definitely became our favorite place to go escape reality for the day.
Dixie T — Google review
The reserve is full of rich history, efforts towards conservation of natural resources and a beautiful place to get in some extra steps or have family time on budget. Would definitely recommend the Circle B Bar Reserve for any nature lover, photographer, etc. There’s plenty of regular and accessible parking. They do have an accessible trolley tour so be sure to tell them when booking. Hat, sunscreen, water, comfortable shoes and your hypervigilence when walking paths. The wildlife lives here and we are guests. Follow rules and don’t harass the wildlife. It’s a beautiful spot and photographers can get a permit to take photos here. Staff is friendly and helpful. Volunteer opportunities are always available if you are looking for something to do. Put this on your list of “places to go”—definitely worth it.

What a beautiful place for a short visit or a day trip. Trail signs are fantastic, most trails are 1-2.5 miles each. Lots of things to see prairie, marsh, lake environments. There is a discovery center (open on Saturday) tram tours, port o lets. Of course the highlight? Gators! Tons of them! Saw them sunning themselves right on the banks we walked by, in the lake, big splashes when one gets scared of YOU! Bald eagles, osprey, herons, egrets, ducks & more. Peaceful. Thank you people of Polk County!**Leave your pets & fishing poles home. Neither are allowed & that's exactly why the gators are still fearful. If you need to fish or bring Fido everywhere, please go somewhere else**

Wonderful place to hike and experience wildlife. Not to mention, it has no entry fee. Tons of wildlife to enjoy and photograph. Would recommend for any nature lover and photographers. Make sure you bring everything you need with you.

Amazing preserve/park. The live oaks are breathtaking. We took the Alligator Alley Trail. Lake Hancock on one side and the swamp on the other side of the trail. We saw all kinds of birds and a raccoon strolled across the path right in front of us. Saw many gators sunning. Coming back again. NO DOGS !
Connie M — Google review
Amazing Place for Unforgettable Hikes...You WILL see gators, all kinds of birds and tons of critters. Great paths that are well maintained and breathtakingly gorgeous habitats. Best Reserve in All of FL ❤️ Keep a little ones close and bring plenty of water.
Steel M — Google review
This is a nature preserve on the shores of Lake Hancock. Admission is free and parking is free. The visitor center serves as a hub to use the restroom, get maps, and cool off in the AC. But be warned, it closes at 4pm! We made a lap around the lake trail before returning through the marsh trail. It was about ~2 miles. We saw alligators, turtles, birds, racoons, and more.I thought it was slightly difficult to navigate the campus. It really needs a big map near the parking lot displaying all possible trails and locations.
Kevin M — Google review
It was odd at first to walk along the lake and to see so many alligators on your left and then to see all different size baby gators on your right. Raccoons walking and minding their own business. We took so long on this trail taking pictures and just hanging on the covered walkway on the lake watching so many alligators just floating along. There is more to the Reserve we just didn’t get to it. Many birds, and turtles.

A fantastic museum filled with some of the world's most beautiful and historic aircraft! Visitors have the opportunity to get up close and personal with some of history's most iconic planes, as well as explore a variety of vintage cars. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable, and would make a great tour guide for anyone interested in aviation. The museum is also reasonably priced, making it an ideal destination for all ages.
What an amazing experience we had at this museum! Guides were extremely knowledgeable, and this collection of aircraft and engines as well as cars is kept in pristine condition with great attention to detail! I love the fact that everything is flight worthy. Thoroughly enjoyed our tour!

Love the history behind the planes. It is well worth the visit. I am sad that the bigger building is no longer open. If you are a first timer it is a great stop. Nice gift shop. You can tell a lot of love has come along with all of these historical aircrafts.

If you like airplanes, aviation history, WW I & WWII aircraft, and hearing really good stories told by knowlegable docents (employees, not volunteers), GO VISIT this museum, reputed to be the world's largest privately-held vintage aircraft museum.40 historic airplanes, all restored to full flying condition, and all of which have been flown by the museum's owner, who is also the museum's creator, collector, director of restorations, and curator.Only $15, $12 seniors. And for the really serious enthusiasts, a private 4 1/2 hour tour ($$$$) is offered for groups of 5 of the 150+/- additional vintage airplanes stored on site, plus the boneyard, the mechanical and airframe restoration shops, etc.

Cool museum of Kermit Weeks' private collection. Enjoyed the guided tour The only negative is that we were only able to see less than 20% of his exhibits. The others are only accessible by more expensive private tours. Still, 4 out of 5 stars for a fun couple of hours.

Absolutely brilliant little museum/hangar full of actual historical planes from all ages that are still in use, along with a variety of vintage cars. There are several cockpits set up you can climb into and you have the opportunity to be mere inches away from not only war planes but older racing planes, sea planes, and experimental ones.A very unique experience that I would highly recommend to any aeronautics enthusiast!

Showcase of Citrus is a picturesque orchard that offers tourists the opportunity to pick citrus fruits, along with other activities. Guests can visit an old-fashioned country store and engage with various animals on-site. The tour includes a commentary from a humorous guide, while food trucks offer delicious meals at reasonable prices. However, some visitors may find the cost of admission steep and the ride uneventful for younger children.
This is such a cute, eclectic marketplace with farm and exotic animals! They've got fresh juice, orchards, lots of things for the kids, local and small business wares and even a bar. We were surprised to see a selection of wine from a small winery that we lived near in Indiana! There's really something for everyone, but my favorite part was the squealing piglets and their sassy mama. :)
Kia F — Google review
It's a unique experience but a little pricey. The your guide was funny and overall a great guy! I really enjoyed his commentary and personality. The ride itself was average and not very fun for the younger kids. The best part of the tour was the driver.I heard they rerouted us because the 4 wheel drive wasn't operational due to parts that they were waiting to become available. I understand that, it's just too bad that neither truck had the ability to go off road. The food trucks were fantastic!!!! Fair prices for big portions. I highly recommend getting food from them.Lots of animals to look at and I teract with. Kids of all ages enjoyed that the most. You can pick oranges, amount a few other activities.

This is a good place for kids outing. They had lots of fun playing in the park, petting and feeding the animals. However, we are disappointed that citrus plucking is not available at this moment and as per the front desk, information on the website is outdated and we have to check their social media page for correct updates.

Great experience. Fun ride in a huge truck with a bit of education about oranges, Florida, animals and a few other things. After the ride there is a playground, a place to feed animals and food trucks.Food trucks were solid. We ate at "Food for the Soul" and the food was great. Also tried out the orange slushee and it was great!

Everyone was friendly from tour guy and his sister that allowed us to sample honey and jams. She was very pleasant. Nice location kid friendly. The lady checking us in for the tour was not friendly, talked very fast as if she didn’t want to help or didn’t want to be there. She was the first interaction we had and it wasn’t pleasant. The tour guy made up for our experience. Walk with cash to tip tour guy because he was great.I would visit again.

Absolutely adore the updates they did to the new facility area. Our children from age 3 to 13 had a wonderful experience from feeding the animals to picking the "pineapple oranges".*The only downside is there is a plant in the Orange Grove that is toxic and packs a punch of pain when touched called Heartleaf nettle please beware!!!But all in all we will definitely be back soon.
Elena W — Google review
I had stopped by before to look at all the stuff they sell, but I had never done the monster truck tour so my mom and I decided to go one day for something to do. I had no idea what to expect and honestly thought it might be a little silly or cheesy, BUT it was actually really cool!! It was fun seeing (and feeding!) all the animals and learning about all the different citrus varieties they have! I had no clue! And of course it's fun to shop before or after! I bought some honey that is amazing!
Kristin H — Google review
Fun thing to do for the whole family. Truck ride is very informative and our driver Mike was awesome! He told interesting stories and facts about the citrus farm. Fun for the kids to feed the animals as we went along the route. The rest of the farm is great too - with a cute gift shop and other animals.

Free to go in. My 2-year-old grandson loved the sandpit and animals. Tickets available for 45-minute tours on the safari bus. Probably best to book those in advance on weekends, holidays, etc. All in all a great outing.

This is one of the best things to do in Central FL with kids! They have a petting zoo where you can feed animals, monster truck ride, the best desserts, a playground and seasonal orange picking. They’re also pet friendly which is a huge plus! If you’re a local or visiting, come here for a true Florida experience.

Free tasting and tour! What more can you ask for? The tour experience itself was really fun. Our "tour guide" was very funny and energetic.Personally, the sweet wines made from the muscadine grapes tasted better than the dry ones. I saw many people taste testing pouring out the dry flights. They should just focus on the sweet ones where they grow the grades themselves instead.
J H — Google review
Lakeridge Winery has a great location in the hills of Central Florida. I’m not a fan of the Muscadine grape, so I felt the wines were quite biting and acidic. But if you like the Florida grape, try this out! The staff was informative and pleasant. They do allow dogs and have free wine tastings after the facility tour.
Megs — Google review
I really liked the free tasting/"tour" through the winery but I didn't really like any of the wine. I know it's a personal preference thing but the "wines" grown in Florida are way too sweet for me. And the wines they cultivate from California just don't hold up to California bottles around the same price. At all. I do think the FL wines are fairly priced though and I think the extra/reserve tastings were a very good price, as were the cheese trays (though I wish they were curated and not just out of a boar's head box). The store is the best part about the place though! So many unique gifts and food/wine stuff that I've never even seen! The concert venue outside was nice as well, though it's weird that if you buy a bottle in the winery you can't enjoy it on their lawn.

Visited this winery on my birthday and I have to say it was a 10/10 experience. They have offer a great tour which by the way is FREE , great staff that’s knowledgeable about the winery and any questions you may have. It’s such a beautiful property and must experience. Although I’m a sweet red wine person trying all the other wines they offer was also a great experience yes at the end they offer FREE wine tastings definitely worth it. Definitely will be back in June.

Amazing experience! We did the tour/tasting and our girls took us on a tasting journey. So much fun and so full of friendly energy. If I lived closer I would spend way too much time in the loft, hanging out and overlooking the vinyard working on my laptop all day... such good vibes here. Love almost all of the staff and almost all of the wines! Try the mulled and be ready for flavor explosion!

We absolutely loved it! The second we walked through the front doors we were treated like we were family! All the staff made us feel right at home! The staff was very knowledgeable and we learned so much from them while we were there. Everything was very clean and organized, the bathrooms were immaculate. The tour was free, and the wine was delicious! We can't wait to go back in the summer to see the vineyards in full bloom.

Absolutely amazing visit !! Free parking and tour .Guided Tours and Tasting are offered 7 days a week starting at 10:00 am each day, with the last tour offered at 4:00 pm. Tours usually run every 30-40 minutes and begin with a 10 minute video presentation, which guides you through the entire wine making process and the history of Florida wine.

My family and I really enjoyed this winery. It’s one of the best we have visited. The tour and tasting were complimentary which makes it even better. They do yours all day long so you can show up with out reservations. You will walk up stairs to a room to watch a video on the history of the winery. Then walk around and see where they make the wine at. If you want to see the vineyard in full bloom it’s best to go during the summer time. We can’t wait to return to check out their weekends at the winery! Very great place to visit with family from out of town that love wine!

Sydney the front desk associate was amazing! She accommodated our needs and went above and beyond her responsibilities. My AC wasn’t working when we arrived, she immediately had maintenance take care of the issue, though it never worked, she switched my room and put me into a better location with a better view of the lake. Sydney also gave us great recommendations on food and must do while in town locations. The town is amazing and the people are great! This location is conveniently located near great food and drinks! Will visit again! Omg the rooftop view is to die for.

This is a cute and unexpected resort on the shores of Lake Dora in Tavares, FL - they are the seaplane capital of the world. Lots of bars and restaurants. Great little coffee shop. The rooms are above retail space in three separate buildings. Our balcony overlooked the lake and we watched seaplanes take flight. Room was older but HUGE and very quaint. It was very quiet at night. We had a minor issue with the TV but a maintenance guy came and took care of it immediately. Bed was very comfortable and there was plenty of hot water. Easy check in/out. Free breakfast was just okay. Pretty typical of hotels. Our only concern was to get to the elevator in our building we had to enter through a rather sketchy back door off the parking lot. It was just a screen door but the elevator required a key card so it felt safe. We will be back.

Everyone should stay there at least once. It is the luxury for the those that like it toned down a bit. Spacious rooms. Friendly and accomodations staff. You can actually meet the owner...He will actually help you with your luggage. I love the hands on approach..

If you are there to party and not care where you crash then its perfect. I paid more for a lake view which was a lie. I was in a building furthest from the lake. The room was dirty. I had to wear shoes until getting into bed or my feet would be black. No one sweeps or mops. Just take a look up at the exhaust fan in the bathroom covered in dust and know they do not clean. The bed sounded like the frame was going to break any minute. The elevator was disgusting and dirty. It was very noisy and crowded. We had no place to park by our building because it was taken over by the people attending the bars. I would NEVER stay there again.

Suggest reading other reviews on this place to see patterns. Not super happy with this place.Absolutely the rooms were clean, decent sized and all amenities worked well (shower etc) but the decor is old and there was a continuous dampness that I could not put my finger on. Kind of like a humidity in the room. For example my shoes would feel very slightly damp putting them back on.There was a cheapness to everything that seemed to be trying to sell itself as an upgrade. For example breakfast was included but it was all cheap pre wrapped, pre packaged, pre processed foods of debatable nutrition. See the pic of breakfast items.I drove to a diner the second day so I could have eggs and better coffee. The tables and chairs were the portable plastic type. The staff asked me for a credit card for incidentals and I thought they meant for a mini bar and snacks but it was for damage that you or your pet do to the room.I didn’t stay in the main building so I can’t say what the quality is like in those rooms but I feel it is completely misleading to have the word ‘Resort’ in the name.Maybe the main building is nicer?Had a few bugs in the room & could hear music from the bar downstairs but it was not bad enough to stop me sleeping on the 3rd floor.I would not stay here again given this experience. I paid about $260 for 2 nights.

Location was great, service was pretty decent, and rooms were showing their age. Appreciated the location being at the heart of this downtown little community. So cute and fun to visit the restraunts and watch the seaplanes.Service was good but it took me nearly 30mins to check in. It was about midnight and they were having issues with their credcard machine. The lady checking me in tried 3 times to reboot their system and though was very apologetic, it took a long time to check in. In the end she was not able to get the computer working and had to take take a photo of my card and said she would work on it in the morning. The rooms were a good size and had decent accommodations but they were definitely a bit worn. The toilet papper holder in the bathroom was about to fall off the wall, some of the caulking ar I u d the shower was very dirty, and there were several scuff marks on multiple walls. I'm not a fan of writting poor reviews, but my hope is the hotel owner may see this and spend a little money to make some small improvements that would certainly help the place appear much nicer. It doesn't need a ton of work, just some minor improvements would be a huge help!

The place is very nice. However, the bar attached to the hotel has a large outdoor patio with a stage. They played music at night outside and it was so loud it vibrated our room which was across the street. We could not enjoy our balcony or the pool, let alone relax or sleep in the room.Watching TV was barely possible as the loud bass meant we had to turn up the volume. The music went on past 10:00pm at night. Will not stay here again.

What a dump. I have no idea what classifies this as a resort. Location is waterfront and the front desk ladies were friendly. The buildings are run-down. Big drywall patches on the walls in the room, dead bugs in the sink, TV didn't work, breakfast was a joke.

It is best to think of this place as a nature park with dinosaur statues and a few activities for the kids. It is a good place to go when the weather is nice and you just want a relaxing few hours. You can bring a picnic basket, walk around the trails, read the placards about various dinosaurs, and enjoy your lunch. It has some activities for young children such as a kids train ride, playground, and mini golf.

Took my son for his 3rd birthday (should have went a day early for a free ticket).Dinosaurs are cool to look at but a lot costs extra. I wish everything would be included in the price, since it's already pretty pricey. My son had a good time but was disappointed we didn't have a train ticket (we thought we purchased one at the front)Did enjoy it was dog friendly, so our pups got to join for the day.Pretty much a one and done deal, no desire to go back again.Bring your own water and bring plenty, NO water bottle filing stations at the restrooms. Was cool they had it decorated for Halloween.

Most of all, my children loved it. They have a dinosaur themed playground that the kids enjoyed thoroughly. How is this place not better known?

Great place to visit and take family. Love the winding paths that you can travel down at your own pace. Beautiful setting. They do not have a place to eat and while the large gift shop carries water, you are welcome to bring your own cooler and the local pizza place delivers here. They are more then happy to invite you to eat in the lovely picnic area with whatever food you bring in. Very helpful and nice staff. Easy to get to right off of I-4 and plenty of parking.

Very nice!! Mom, daughter and 4 grandchildren aged 9 years to 10 1/2 months!! Rode the train, played in the fossil dig, fun on the good sized playground, took a cooler with drinks, sandwiches, chips, snacks... you can take a stroller or wagon for kiddos, lots of entertainment for everyone, mini golf...... great gift shop nicely priced... a very good bargain! The store says 2 hours but we could easily stayed for 4 hours!

This place is amazing! They are always adding new things to see and experience. My kids grew up in this park and always want to visit when we are in central Florida. Pay the extra for the dig and gem strike. The gift shop is pretty amazing too so expect to buy something there. They also have some cool vending machines. Their park equipment is on point. If you have kids under 12 take them here! As of 2024 spring you are allowed to leave and comeback same day with wrist band.

Highly recommend if you enjoy walks outside and/or dinosaurs! We paid for the full experience, which includes a train ride, fossil dig, and gem sifting, along with admission to the park. The earlier you arrive the better. We went right when the doors opened and by the time we left, it was packed! This place is amazing. All kinds of shade and vegetation. Tons of dinosaurs spread all around. Cool eating scenes. A few animatronic dinosaurs at the beginning. Can feed tiny fish for $1. They have a huge gift shop full of rocks and fossils and all kinds of dinosaur related things. I wish it was closer as I would keep coming back, even if to just enjoy a nice walk!

Have taken two of our grandsons to Dino World.Kids loved it. Train ride, fossil dig, and museums were well-liked. Small crowd on a Monday (30 cars). Bring a lunch. Kids should be into dinosaurs, and will learn a lot during your stay.

We enjoyed the Cave City KY location and saw the Florida one was close to our Spring Break trip so we HAD to go! We had a blast! Everyone was nice, it was very clean, and we just had a blast. We enjoyed the quarter smasher and the automated cotton candy machine. We all need to support places like this. So, if you're in the area, check out this super fun place!

The Manatee Viewing Center, located in Apollo Beach, is a protected marine reserve that offers visitors the opportunity to observe Florida manatees in their natural habitat. The center features a 50-ft. observation tower, trails, a boardwalk, and butterfly gardens for visitors to explore. Additionally, there are colorful displays and exhibits providing information about manatees and their habitat. Visitors can also experience a hurricane simulator and learn about storm preparedness while enjoying the award-winning butterfly gardens surrounding the center.
This place is amazing, and free!! Parking filled up fast, but they have an overflow parking lot. There were at least thirty manatees in the area when we came, and it’s still pretty warm right now. The observation tower was worth the walk, lots of schools of fish to see and watch them jump. The learning area is geared towards smaller children but was still interesting. Cute gift shop. We didn’t eat onsite, but they did have a place for food and the prices seemed very reasonable.

During my visit to the Manatee Viewing Center in Apollo Beach, FL, I was truly impressed by the exceptional level of maintenance and care evident throughout the facility. The staff's extensive knowledge of marine life, particularly their expertise on manatees, greatly enriched my visit. Furthermore, I was delighted to see the commitment to sustainable energy, with a notable emphasis on solar and wind power. The fact that the majority of the facility operates on solar energy is a commendable feat, reflecting a dedication to environmental responsibility. The day of my visit was particularly memorable as I had the opportunity to witness a remarkable number of manatees, as well as encountering some sharks and tarpon. This diverse marine life added an extra layer of fascination to the experience. Overall, the Manatee Viewing Center left a lasting impression on me, and I would highly recommend it to anyone interested in gaining a deeper understanding of Florida's marine ecosystems.

This place was amazing. I'm so glad that they give back to the community like they do as it is free. There is a gift shop, two peirs to walk out onto. They had a petting area for sting rays. They had several beautifully landscaped gardens. These are all just extra perks as far as I'm concerned. The manatees were so very cool!!!

What an awesome experience for people of all ages, and at no cost!!! Everything is set up perfectly. The gift shop was amazing and prices were great! Employees/volunteers were phenomenal. We definitely will be back. Visit on a cooler day to increase your chances of seeing more manatees. Also, consider adopting a manatee to help save these gentle giants!!

The Manatee Viewing Center was wonderful! I definitely didn't expect to see so many manatees but boy was I wrong. We saw black-tipped sharks, Atlantic Tarpon, Redfin Needlefish, and stingrays! What a wonderful and free experience available to the public! The gift shop has so many cute and affordable keepsakes or gifts to choose from. There is a stingray pool where you can watch and touch the rays as they swim by. So much fun! We can't wait to return!
Monica M — Google review
So fun, clean, and it's FREE!!! This place is great! Staff is friendly and knowledgeable. First time touching a sting ray! The walkways are large, everything was clean (even the bathrooms). While the manatee weren't close, you can definitely see them there. It's amazing the entire facility is free. It needs to be on your bucket list!

I absolutely love visiting here, its my 3rd time and I never tire of seeing these beautiful creatures. Parking was easy... and if there is not space in the main parking lot, there is remote parking with a shuttle, free. I always enjoy walking on the boardwalks and there is plenty of railing space to get a good view in. The signs are helpful to identify the birds and fish. The gift shop is very reasonable priced.

The best free experience! Very clean, no crowds, educational, love watching manatees enjoying the warmer waters! Fun and playful stingrays! Beautiful boardwalk. Definitely will be returning to learn about the birds, gardens, and check out the gift shop.Wheelchair accessible. They have Wheelchairs as well. Very friendly staff. We felt very welcome.

Super nice place. They have a few trails to walk, a viewing tower, manatee viewing, a stingray pool, and a gift shop. The trails went to places that talked about solar energy and other sustainable energy sources. They had some interactive activities at the stops. They had a little pool with stingrays you could touch where the volunteers were really kind. The manatee viewing spot was perfect. There were so many! Overall great experience considering all the activities were free!
Samantha B — Google review
Great place to see lots of manatees! There are viewing platforms above the water, so visitors can look down into the water to see the adorable manatees. They gather near the power plant to take advantage of the warmer water in the winter months. There are hundreds of them swimming about! There is a cute gift shop ( an employee told me some of the proceeds go to support manatees) , snack bar, restrooms & an area to see & interact with stingrays.

Nice place, nice trails. Wish there were more over hanging trees to walk through on hot days like yesterday. They have restrooms and water bottle fill stations. However, this park reminded me more of my hikes in the desert than in tropical locations.

My mom and I were in town for a girls week and hiked all around Robinson Preserve for a few hours one day checking out the wildlife and climbed to the top of the observation tower. Been here so many times and love it every time. Only warning, closes at sunset. Lots of different sections, mostly paved or torn up tire for walking, although a few areas have shells or dirt. Lots of great bike trails. Expect to see lots of lizards, birds and flowers.

Great spot for kayaking or paddle boards. The entrances to the bay are closed to prevent algae coming into the preserve (disappointing but understandable). Explore the mangroves, and viewing tower. There is lots to explore.

I've hiked here several times. The big highlight here is the tower where you can view the beautiful natural surroundings of the Bay. This place is a landscape photographer's playground. Trails are easy and has plenty of options to navigate the area. Wildlife are abundant here as well. There are bathroom facilities at the entrance before your trek out.

Nice park with a lot of trails, a look out tower and places to kayak. Dogs are allowed, but not on the look out tower. You can see the Skyway Bridge from the tower! It's a big park, we only saw 1/2 of it in 2 hours. I'll definitely go back. There is also a botanical gardens down the street that looked like a good place to check out.

Lovely area for hiking, biking, kayaking and leisurely strolls! We went on a Tuesday and there were a number of people enjoying the trails, but it wasn't too busy with people to enjoy nature. The restrooms were good and it looked like the playground would be great for little ones. They even had a place to add air to bike tires or make adjustments to a bike. There is no charge to enter the preserve. We saw a gentleman catch a beautiful sheepshead, so fishing might be fun here. Dogs are allowed also.

The new bridge is so much better than the old bridge that collapsed several years before I was born. the new bridge: has lights, is stronger, is safer, and has a 180 ft navigational clearance while the old bridge had a 155 foot clearance.

Amazing times. Clean facilities and Amazing employees tending and maintaining the locations. Some of the best night fishing I have ever had. Your bridge pass includes saltwater fishing licenses while present. The Fish And Game Agents were nice and informative, when you have questions about unknown fish and size limits. They were so helpful with keeping me out of trouble. LOL!

Beautiful bridge! Tolls are only a few dollars and people are frequently paying it forward! Traffic is busy at rush hour but the view is always amazing. Boating underneath is easy to navigate and views are equally impressive! Dont miss this one;)

The Sunshine Skyway Bridge is one of the most iconic landmarks in Florida, and for good reason. This stunning bridge offers breathtaking views of the Gulf of Mexico, making it a must-see destination for anyone visiting the area.Paying the toll to cross the bridge is well worth it, as the views are simply spectacular. The best time to drive across is at sunset, when the sky turns shades of pink, orange, and purple, creating a truly magical experience. You'll feel as if you're driving into a painting! In addition to the incredible views, there are fishing piers on both the north and south ends of the bridge, making it a popular spot for fishing enthusiasts. For those who just want to relax and take in the scenery, there are rest areas at both ends of the bridge with nice facilities. One of the coolest things about the Sunshine Skyway Bridge is the lighting at night. The bridge is illuminated with colorful lights that change throughout the night, creating a beautiful and mesmerizing display. If you're lucky, you may even spot some pelicans using the draft from the cars driving by to glide up alongside the bridge and then dive down into the water to catch a fish. It's a truly amazing sight to see!

Great place for kids. We loved Elmo's show, the kids area, the zoo. You need a few hours to see the whole park. They do have food areas, a very nice restaurant, many rides for kids 5-7 years old. Also many places where you can be inside to cool off. Very nice experience. My 5 years old son had a blast. He loved the hippo, giraffes and cheetah. Mamma Kangaroo had a baby and my kid was very happy to see that.

This place was great. There is plenty to do for kids and adults. The kids rode the rides, and we looked at the animals. The kids loved it. It is a big park and it does have plenty of places to eat. We bought the dining pass, and it was worth it. General parking was fine with the trams running.

They have adrenaline roller-coasters, they have a zoo, they have shows, and kids areas. We got there early and were able to leave no wait in the first couple of rides.SheiKra, with the 90-degree drop is my favorite ride in the park. They also have Cheetah Hunt with a high speed which I love too.We went on the train around the park. The kagoroo encounter was very nice.Overall, everyone will find something to have fun.

Busch Gardens was the most amazing attraction park I’ve ever been to. I love that the gardens have roller coasters and the zoo filled with something for everyone. You can ride the roller coasters, take a train ride to see the animals, taste some delicious food and have lots of fun.Be prepared for the waiting lines. Getting here early in the morning is the best, you’ll likely skip long lines.

My trip to BGT was phenomenal other than the food. The rides and cleanliness were easily 5-star worthy. Sadly 3 rides were out of service and the customer service we received and the quality of the food was sub-par for Busch Gardens. The only food that was actually decent was at the smoke house.

Absolutely awesome! There is something for everyone. There’s a great Sesame Street play area for kids, there are cheers and elephants and other animals. Also flamingoes. There are insanely wild rides and great shows. They have such fabulous shops not crazy prices for gifts and souvenirs. The workers are so friendly and helpful and there are plenty of bathrooms and lockers. The best place ever!!!!
Naomi S — Google review
Good combination between a zoo and amusement park. To enjoy the most of the park, get to it as early as possible. Getting to park takes some time but it’s well organized. My recommendation here is to enjoy the rollercoasters and outside attractions in the morning since in the afternoon it’s most likely to rain and those attractions get canceled. A lot of shows to enjoy. The all-day-dining option is a good deal, we paid $30 per person, and could eat a meal every 90 minutes. The chicken at the Dragon Fire Grill & Pub was awful. If you can, avoid it.

Definitely not how I remember it. I went years ago with family and we had the best time. This time around, we purchased 2-day tickets and after the first day we did not want to return. I realize it’s an amusement park and everything is expensive, but charging $5 per person to ride the SkyRide after getting overpriced tickets seems a little ridiculous. There were also numerous rides closed down which was disappointing, and we found the park catered to the safari/wildlife scene more than rollercoaster attractions. The rides we did go on were great, but again, we had to purchase lockers every single time we got on a ride. Overall, it was a disappointing experience and we will most-likely not be returning.
Cam — Google review
The rides were great. The place has a combination of zoo and roller coasters rides. Must try Iron Gwazi. You should take it as the first ride when you enter the park . The only complaint is that they had the people with the water mister to spray water to cool down the temperature, but only saw them when the park opens and no one since then till the end of day.
Nha P — Google review
Be prepared for outrageous amusement park prices. Bottled water was $5 and soda $7.5. The parking was outrageous as well and waiting for the tram in the heat just adds to the annoyance of the high pricing. They definitely need to add some more rides to get the wait lines down unless you want to pay crazy money for quick pass. In addition, need more covered waiting areas for rides as the heat drains you fast. Glad they had buy one get one tickets otherwise would've been really big ripoff.

Located in rural Dade City, Giraffe Ranch is a picturesque drive-through attraction with close encounters with giraffes, camels and rhinos. The ranch also offers exclusive tours that can only be booked by reservation, as well as ample opportunities for wildlife viewing from the comfort of your car.
The tour was an awesome little adventure for our local family and visiting out of towners. Reservation was easy to do online. When I needed to add one more person, I just called and was taken care of promptly-easy peasy. The tour was engaging and informative. My teen nephews had lots of questions that Elena answered and her enthusiasm about the various animals, their care and history, and related topics was appreciated and made an awesome impression on the boys! Elena was also very considerate to ensure my brother who has mobility challenges, and my 80 y/o aunt were able to see and participate and that they were comfortable. Definitely recommend this and I’ll be bringing more visitors through!

My first visit at the Giraffe Ranch this weekend. Ranch has a lot of animals! Guided Tour included with general admission was great. My reason for 1 star is in regards to the $300 private giraffe experience, falsely advertised on website!! Website states you “join professional giraffe keepers in their daily giraffe care activities. Customized experience lasts a minimum of 30 minutes.” My “experience” was a 20 minute private giraffe feeding. No tour of the giraffe barns, no daily giraffe care activities demonstrated, and I was only given 20 minutes in the enclosure on the safari bus. The tour guides brought me just enough into the enclosure to feed the giraffes and closed the gate right behind the safari bus. General admission is not included in the price of the experience, so my entry with the experience was $420 for a total of two hours on the ranch. Not to mention I missed the beginning of the general admission tour because I was feeding the giraffes. Don’t recommend adding this experience to your general admission, they take you to feed the giraffes during the guided tour anyways. $300 is absolutely outrageous, totally not justified for the experience I received. I didn’t even get the 30 minutes promised in the experience listing. Disappointed!! Would’ve loved to actually see the daily giraffe care activities.

Don’t be concerned like we were when they didn’t open the gates right up until your tour time. It does look a little sketchy driving in but it is very much worth it. We enjoyed the otter feeding though it was quick, it was worth it because they were our favorite animals. You can tell the owners take pride in what they do and they have a wealth of knowledge on all the animals. The ride along safari was great because you were chauffeured around the land to be so many animals. We got close encounters and great pictures of all of them! It is pricey but worth the day trip out!

“Expectation versus reality” is the best way to sum up our day at giraffe ranch. My boyfriend and I took our two 7 year old daughters to visit. Our reservation was at 4pm and cost me $340. We entered and the tour started immediately almost without warning. Driving so far to come we needed a restroom. Drove around the property following a gentleman on a Segway whom was explaining the property and animals we encountered. I felt his humor and over all approach was just not as professional or child friendly as I would have hoped for. He was very knowledgeable and passionate about the animals. The grounds were well kept as were the animals. We got no where near any animals on the tour and a lot felt lack luster and was over sold online in the gallery and descriptions. Once our tour ended he immediately led two vehicles out of the property because they had not bought other experiences. I do hope no one needed the restroom!! I purchased the lemurs in addition and had to request a restroom first. On my way I Found out they had a gift shop and many other animal enclosures we had not seen! We were being rushed the entire visit it felt like. The lemur activity was enjoyable and I’d say worth the extra fee. The children enjoyed that part and the animals were very clean and gentle. Upon the end we were taken to the gate to exit immediately. Perhaps at an earlier reservation we may have had a more impressionable enjoyable experience. Overall we had moments of enjoyment and learned a lot about animal mating! Personally feel it did not entirely meet expectations for the cost.

What an amazing way to celebrate our eight year anniversary! The owner was very hospitable and knowledgeable as we rode some amazing and friendly camels through the vast expanse of his property. What a WONDERFUL Florida gem. The safary tours are amazing. You get to watch the animals live in a natural environment. This place does not have a zoo type vibe. The zoo provides opportunities for up-close encounters with a diverse range of animals from around the globe, including big cats, primates, reptiles, and birds. With its commitment to conservation and education, ZooTampa at Lowry Park aims to raise awareness about the importance of protecting wildlife and their habitats.
We love this zoo. My daughter started watching their show on Disney and became obsessed with the African "Panda" dog, aka African painted dog. We did a road trip just to visit the dogs. Now, we have been back multiple times. The park has a perfect combination of animals and extra fun kid activities. The Manatee exhibit is my personal favorite. There are so many cool ways to see them up close and realize how much personality those manatees have. Seeing a Florida Panther up close was also neat. The carousel, safari ride, face painting, and log flume ride all break up the day to add an extra layer of fun. My daughter got one of their junior zookeeper vests and wears it constantly. Overall, we had a really good experience at this zoo and have already come back and plan to go more. My only negative is that the lunch options are not very healthy. We ended up doing pizza the first visit, and it was very greasy. That is where I could see room for improvement.

Tampa City Pass made for an easy entry into the park with no wait lines at all! Highly recommend for a fun family day out.

A fantastic zoo. Went without researching (on purpose). I Wasn't expecting a water ride or all the water fountain places to get wet and cool off. Recommend wearing a bathing suit and bringing towels to enjoy it all. Also, most of the feedings were already booked up by an hour of being at the park after opening, so I also recommend booking any animal interactions (feedings, etc) prior to visiting! Overall, a great zoo and we will plan accordingly next time, to enjoy all they have to offer.

My kids and I had a great time visiting here. We enjoyed seeing the different animals that we haven’t seen before and learning about the manatee rescue.Whoever decided to put rides and water features in the zoo is a genius!! I felt like there was a lot of shade as we were going through and the fans helped cool us down as well.I docked a star bc there seemed to be a lot closed…rides, restaurants, stores, etc. It also smelled really bad by the orangutans…not sure if there was something going on or if that is normal.

This is a nice zoo. I’ve never seen koalas up close like that before. There are a few rides that are free. A carousel and a small kid friendly roller coaster. It’s manageable to see the zoo in 2.5-3.5 hours depending on the age of kids you have. The Asia area and Africa area have nice details that make it feel authentic. Staff were very nice.

My daughter had a blast there. We went on a field trip. The workers done seem the nicest. But it didn't stop us from having fun. My daughter got her face painted. The lady that painted her face was pretty friendly. And she did a wonderful job. There's even a little splash pad for the kids.

The safari adventure is a must do part of the zoo, I recommend going straight to it when you get into the park to avoid a long line, you get to see some animals you can't see from anywhere else in the zoo, and different angles and occasionally closer views of the African animals. During the summer I would definitely get there early to beat the heat but there are plenty of fans, misters, and even a water ride to help cool you off. Overall really great experience with plenty of animals and if you have kids there's lots of activities and rides for them to enjoy besides just the animals

Such a great zoo! My 1st time coming, we will definitely be back with our 1 yr old son.I attached a couple pictures of the line we waited in. How long it went so fast...we were probably only in line for about 5 minutes.🙂 There were approximately 40 people ahead of us when we 1st got in line.(*In The Giftshop*) Motorized-buggies available to rent $40, regular wheelchair $14All the workers were great and the bathrooms were THE CLEANEST I'VE EVER SEEN, clearly That is a High Priority at this zoo! I Love That!!

Really enjoyed this Park, the animals looked well cared for with nice areas built to enclose them more naturally for many. The elephants were easily viewed on a little free safari included with admission. The rides were a nice plus especially the water ride. Splash pads and misters really helped with the heat, we lasted all day with a 7 yr old in late June around 87 out. Wendy’s Frosty stand was refreshing. Water was a bit pricey but other than that all perfect experiences, including interaction with staff.

We had so much fun at this zoo. Checking in I didn't buy tickets ahead of time and I am thankful I didn't. The assistant was friendly and helped me understand that it was cheaper to get a zoo membership than it was to pay for 2 adults and a 4 year old. Now I have a membership that gets me into select zoos and aquariums all over the US at a discount price, plus a discount when buying stuff inside the zoos and aquariums like the gift shop and pictures. We took other reviewers recommendations and went straight to the safari ride so we wouldn't wait in long lines. Definitely a good idea we had to wait two rotations, the vehicle seats quite a lot of people. I always visit zoos when on vacation, so I didn't do much research about this one. I was pleasantly surprised that there is a water ride, which is included in your ticket to get into the zoo. We where racing a storm on our visit. There is a large splash pad area that my 4 year old didn't get to play in. If there is a storm in the area FL shuts down water rides and splash areas. All the animals look well cared for and have nice enclosures with plenty of enrichment. I kept commenting how thought out the zoo was, there is plenty of shade built over the paths and trees for shady areas. We where there early in the morning and most animals where visable, your always going to have some hiding. Which is good that they have the choice to hide from the heat and hustle and bustle of human chaos. I definitely recommend taking this adventure, it took us about 3 hours and its a beautiful zoo. More time could of been spent if the storm wasn't approaching.

The Dalí Museum in St. Petersburg is a must-visit for art enthusiasts. The museum houses an extensive collection of surrealist art by Salvador Dalí and is known for its unique building with 900 glass panels. Visitors can also experience Dali 360, a captivating 30-minute projection dome show that brings the artist's works to life.
The museum itself was wonderful and a beautiful experience. The paintings are amazing. The outside garden was also beautiful. We did the Dalí Alive 360 which is well worth it!! The food was a bit expensive 😞 and pay for parking 10$ but glad there was parking . There were quite a-lot of people and loud in the museum so kinda had to rush then go back to read the ones we missed. Over all it was a great experience. Also, every worker we had contact with was so friendly!!

I always wanted to visit this museum as it houses the 2nd largest collection of Dali works— the largest collection being being in Spain— so, once I knew I’d be in the area, I decided to go. Luckily, it was a Thursday, so it was half-price after 5p. I was staying in the hotel just a block or so away, so I walked. I did purchase my ticket online in advance, and there was a short wait to get in. There is a little cafe, and I ate my evening meal there— it was good food, and there is a bar and a number of tables both inside and outside. It’s by the water so it’s a nice view, and the architecture is beautiful. Dali art, like all art, is subjective, and it’s not really my style. I find most of it too abstract for my tastes, though he does have a few paintings that are beautiful. But, as I said, I always wanted to visit this museum so it was a must-see for me. I joined a free museum tour, and it was very informative. No regrets!

*World Traveler ReviewAmazing architecture, easy to find, interactive and informative w/ gift shop!Definitely recommend the guided tour… They shared unique information about the artist and the individual works that I didn’t know before. Be aware that guided tours only leave on a periodic basis. Call ahead to learn more. They also have audio tours available. QR codes are provided near the individual works of art to provide additional information as you tour the museum. Super smart! The grounds near the building are immaculately, clean, and easy to walk. The views are amazing and allow several photo opportunities!Plenty of parking and easy to access via wheelchair. Definitely recommend!

It was such an amazing experience visiting this museum. We did both the full 360 and the general admission exhibits, and they’re well worth the price. We went during the floral special exhibition, and I really enjoyed the florals there in signature Dali style. I would also heavily recommend the poached pear dessert - it was super unique and well priced! Overall I would recommend!

Parking was $10, (all day parking), however parking is limited. There was a graduation at the theater next door and a boat show, we got lucky and got one of the last spots. They were asking folks to park just two blocks away. There are docent tours every hour 12:30, 130… check before you go and do go, fascinating! So knowledgeable and polite. There is a Dalí Cafe, delicious (limited indoor seating but worth the wait). I don’t normally enjoy museum cafes but this one had very tasty food (we had the cheese plate, bread plate and carrot hummus, plus coffee and tea.The is a decent selection of Dali photos, paintings and information and you can go online to learn more. I would go back again since our friend is not much of a reader and is more of a quick browser. I would like to spend a bit more time and perhaps go on another docent tour.Go, enjoy and try the cafe, too!

Amazing. We have committed as a family to every vacation to add culture. A museum, art gallery, historical site, anything o open our minds and hearts. We loved this as Dali fans already and the surrealist approach to life. He is amazing! What an amazing collection and St Pete’s is so lucky to have this!!

The Dali is such a wonderful museum. The permanent collection is always worth visiting and they have amazing special collections several times a year. Membership is the way to go if you're local, the Dual and Family memberships are very affordable. If visiting St Pete, the Dali is a must-see!

Well worth price of admission. The building is amazing work of art. Dali was an eccentric person and a very different artist with an amazing mind. Not the type of art you may put on your walls, however I can appreciate his genius as an artist and his flamboyant personality. I visited a number of years ago and remembered some things, but enjoyed talking in more of Dali. Especially liked the 360 movie, very well done.
Rick S — Google review
The Dali Museum is quite the experience and absolutely worth making a trip to the area. The parking is $10 for all day and can be limited but we found it no issue. No backpack type bags are allowed and only disposable water bottles are allowed (first floor only). Luckily they have free lockers just outside the museum to stow your stuff, especially if you like to carry your own water bottle like me and want to go upstairs to see Dali’s works. So bring a small purse/bag and disposable water bottles.I suggest you purchase the tickets ahead of time because it can get crowded/busy and you want to ensure your entry. It got packed by the time we headed upstairs. The outing will be pricey, especially if you add on the “360 experience”, some snacks, drinks at the cafe and of course…the souvenir shop.At first we weren’t going to do the “360 experience” but decided on it last minute since we already made the trip out there. I have to say it was worth it! We absolutely loved it and found it inspiring and moving. We’d do it again.Plan a trip to The Dali Museum and give yourself time to enjoy all it has to offer. The art pieces themselves are incredible and I could’ve easily spent all day here, there’s truly a lot to see, especially if you read about each piece. There’s a small theater that plays Dali’s life story on repeat, which we enjoyed. The building itself is gorgeous and something Dali would’ve loved!

The oldest of three squares and it seems like the powers to be don't really have a plan to rehab it. They started to do things them stopped with Katie Belles and the movie theater. Best part of the square is the 3td Saturday car show.I photograph Uncle Bob's Rock Shop and this is the worst of the three squares to shoot the band in. The Gazebo stage is a poor design way too small, too high and really poor sight angles even if your just watching a band. I've pretty much stopped shooting their shows here. They did some work on the actual square awhile back and they should have revamped/enlarged the stage.

The Swamp Adventure Tour was awesome! We had parents who were apprehensive about them going. I'm so glad they went. It was safe, and the captain was professional, funny and informative. We were able to touch and hold the alligator as a part of the package. The place also had cabins. We didn't stay there but everything was clean and the staff was helpful and friendly. We have about 15 people in our 6 mixture of kids and adults.

Quick trip to visit family down here in Florida, and they suggested we go on an alligator tour... We went to the right place! The staff are friendly, knowledgeable, and yes, we saw alligators; big ones, medium and babies. Even if we hadn't seen all of the alligators we did, the scenery was worth it.. what a great tour! I wish I could add the video of the swamp… it was “wow!”💚

Kyle was our captain. He was extremely interactive and funny, and he named all the wild life and even some of the cool plants we saw. The tour was lovely and the air boat was a fun new adventure for us. 10/10 would recommend Swamp Fever as an activity everyone can enjoy!

My first time on an airboat and very happy we chose Swamp Fever for this adventure. Saw lots of gators of all sizes from babies to large mom and dad as well as a ton of birds and turtles. Our driver/guide did a great job of pointing out where to look. Finally, the lake itself and the offshoots from it with all the cypress trees is beautiful. One more thing, you get to hold a baby alligator at the end of your trip. Highly recommend

There are a lot of options for airboats in this area, but this was in my opinion the best. The captain was very knowledgeable and the team was super friendly. I was very impressed. My students had a great time. We saw a few alligators and got to hold one. I will be coming back.

We came to Florida to visit with family and we decided to take this tour. We had a blast! We saw a few alligators but even if we didn't, the tour itself as well and all the fast turns was worth it! Then we were surprised at the end and got to hold Luke the baby alligator! The staff was so knowledgeable and very friendly. Highly recommend Swamp fever airboat adventures! We will definitely be taking another tour when we come back to visit.
Casey H — Google review
For the first time experience it was totally worth it, if you’re in the area and have the time definitely add it to your todo list, captain was cool and engaging throughout the tour. I would say that it is a wild life tour so please understand that animals don’t always work on human scheduling, none the less although we didn’t get to see one of the huge alligators we did get to see some of the juvenile and baby ones along with some birds, fish and turtles. Definitely a worth while trip. Also getting to hold the baby croc before the tour was definitely a great experience.
Nathan L — Google review
Cool trip, the captain went really fast for minimal splash, but that was kinda unfortunate considering we sat in the sun at 95°f for an hour. Ended up getting a pretty bad sunburn to see no gators, since it was so hot. Go there in the morning or at dusk or you'll be disappointed... 150$ to get burns and not see what you came for

The farm's rich history and the passionate storytelling of Dennis create a captivating visit that leaves guests feeling inspired. Additionally, Taylor provides exceptional knowledge about the farm and its animals.
My husband and I visited Gypsy Gold Horse Farm last Saturday. This was, by far, the best visit of its type I have ever experienced. I knew about Gypsy Vanners thanks to a video some years ago and was enchanted by them. Dennis Thompson brings their history to the forefront and, additionally, presents a wonderful insight into the people who first developed the beginnings of this breed and who are, often, so misunderstood. Dennis presents history well and is incredibly personable and kind. When you leave, you feel you have a new friend.Whether you are just looking for a new and unusual highlight to a vacation, or are interested in becoming more involved at some level, Gypsy Gold is the place to go.We will be returning as often as we can. Dennis has some beautiful and wonderful plans for the future that are best described by him. Go. You will not regret it. You’ll get to meet, up close, some of the finest equine specimens on the planet. Take carrots!

You can feel the love and care that goes into every aspect of this haven for both horses and visitors. It is a truly special place where the owners' vibrant life and and connection with the horses shine through in every detail. I also love that they are now sharing this experience with the local schools, educating the children and teaching compassion. I highly recommend a visit to Gypsy Gold Farm :)

It was worth every minute, and made me teary eyed many times! We feel blessed to have met Dennis and Erin. Dennis and Erin took us on the tour of the property, where we interacted with so many of the horses. Also, Dennis' vision for the future of the Gypsy Gold Farm is just beautiful. Gypsy Gold Horse Farm is a beautiful property with a quite interesting history. The owner, Dennis, told everyone about the beginnings of the Gypsy Vanner breed including a great historical overview of the gypsy families that he spent time with to learn more about their culture. Dennis is an excellent speaker who kept us engaged with lively and humorous stories of his own personal life in the equine industry including the colorful cast of characters he's met along the way. Afterwords he took us on a guided tour of the farm to meet his menagerie of interesting and beautiful animals. The two hours we spent at Gypsy Gold Horse Farm was an enlightening and thoroughly enjoyable experience.

The park features an on-site museum showcasing the area's natural history and a re-created 19th-century pioneer settlement. Visitors can enjoy activities such as kayaking, canoeing, and stand-up paddleboarding while encountering diverse local wildlife including manatees and turtles.
This is one of my new favorite springs in Orlando! We saw so much wildlife and the spring has a lot of natural shade and is a perfect size for a nice paddle. We saw an otter, turtles, fish, baby and big gators, ducks and an underwater statue too! The water is sooo clear and beautiful it is insane! The launch site is easy and you do not have to get wet.

The springs are beautiful. We’ve gone paddle boarding here many times, renting and bringing our own. The loop is easy and can be made in less than an hour, if you’re in a hurry. The long trip down the river is so fun and the gators, monkeys and all the fish and birds make the paddle so fun. This is definitely something worth doing a few times.
Kerry K — Google review
Beautiful place, for sure. The kayaking was peaceful, and we saw a handful of alligators and lots of turtles. I also saw the biggest softshell turtle I have ever seen, an otter playing in the water, and even a manatee! We definitely enjoyed the experience and plan on going again. It's a shame you can't swim, but I understand why they won't let you. We were cut off in a stretch of the river by a nine-footer, and obviously, we kindly let him swim on by. He was literally two feet from the front of the kayak! He didn't have a care in the world. You should probably plan your trip early. It does get a little crowded and makes it a little challenging when you are steering your kayak with everyone else around you as well as all the boats that pass back and forth.
Dixie T — Google review
Staff was argumentative and cranky. Lots of crowds! Would not recommend if you have your own kayaks unless you are patient and can maneuver through all the renters and the glass bottom motor tours to find the nature and peace/quiet-beautiful once you do. (Also did not see any monkeys)

I had a fun experience while visiting this area. You can book kayak rentals through Paddling Adventures that is located in the parking area of the park for an easy water access. The park entrance is $2 per person (kayak rental prices vary), but it’s definitely worth it. Bring water, sunblock, and a good hat if you’re going to be out on the water, and be prepared to possibly see lots of wildlife (alligators included).

It is a beautiful park full of trees and typical plants, the hot springs are unique in their beauty, you can bring your pet, it is like being in a mini jungle where the sounds transport you and the boats with clear bottoms are entertaining. I recommend taking the Extended tour to better appreciate the beauty of the place.

We brought our own SUP boards and launched at the park. We paid to get picked up after our paddle. The driver was very knowledgeable and friendly. We got to see a monkey as we were getting out. Saw some manatees and a gator. Always better to go during the week. Our driver said they were incredibly busy this past weekend and it was over 100 degrees. During the week only a handful of people were on the river which made the paddle very relaxing a peaceful.

It was pretty calm, there was barely anyone else out there for a Friday.

Located in Clearwater Beach, the Clearwater Marine Aquarium is a renowned facility dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating, and releasing marine animals. It was established in 1972 and is housed in a former water treatment plant with large pools ideal for rehabilitation operations. The aquarium is home to various injured marine life that cannot return to the wild. One of its most famous residents was Winter, a bottle-nosed dolphin whose story inspired the movie "Dolphin Tale.
Such a wonderful way to spend a morning!! Very educational while being super fun!! The animals all seem so happy... Nice to see that! The dolphins come RIGHT up to the glass and visit you!!

Clearwater Marine Aquarium is located in Clearwater, FL. What I liked about this place was, they take in injured and sick wildlife to rehabilitate them. Some of the animals were too injured to be released back into the wild. A famous dolphin named Winter lived there; her tail was damaged from a crab trap and they gave her a prosthetic tail. There were movies based on her story. Aside from dolphins, there were otters, sharks, stingrays, tortoises, and various others. There were exhibits indoors and outdoors. They had a dolphin show with a host telling us all about the dolphins; the dolphins were also performing tricks. There was an outdoor patio on the upper level. Parking was plentiful in the parking garage. We were staying at a local hotel and they were offering discounts to the aquarium because they were affiliated. When you first walk in, they had professional photographers taking your photos; you have the option to purchase it later with all the graphics on it. There was a food court and multiple levels of exhibits. We got to see the dolphins up close and personal at the lower level. They are looking to expand the aquarium and add a manatee exhibit. Overall, we had a fun day there and would go back.

Overall, this was a pretty interesting experience for us going for the very first time it’s definitely more of a rescue rather than an aquarium just so you can properly prepare financially to go to the park. It’s $15 to park $39 for an adult ticket $34 for a child ticket and $37 for a senior ticket. There’s no clear explanation of the floors and what’s actually on the floors, but there is a massive tank where you can see the dolphins that are there and the ones that they’re working with on rehabbing them back to health. The show primarily consist of them discussing how to rehab them back to health which again is pretty cool. They do have an awesome little spot to where you can draw picture and then it Becomes real on the screen so that’s pretty cool especially for the Littles. Would I come here again for the price that it was probably not in full transparency because I don’t feel like I was able to get my “money is worth” but I am glad that I was able to support the rescue efforts to the best of its ability right now.I think it is definitely worth it if you purchase the behind-the-scenes or the boat tour or the extra stuff but a lot of the stuff I’m seeing in other peoples reviews. We didn’t even see that particular thing there whatsoever and then I’m reading the reviews and see that they paid for the behind-the-scenes and the boat tour.

We live locally and went to the Aquarium on a Saturday for the Capybara meet and greet which my kids just loved! We became annual members and were excited to see the new manatee exhibit they are building. The people working at this facility couldn’t be nicer or more enthusiastic about their jobs. It was an amazing family experience.

Went for the first time today, it was AMAZING the workers going around are very informative and this lovely lady named Kelly showed my daughter and us all the different animals while we were waiting on the capybara exhibit. The older gentleman working the stingray exhibit was very informative. Loved it! Wanting to visit again very soon <3

Excellent excellent!! I had an amazing time with my daughter. Saw dolphins, turtles, sea otters, sting rays, nurse shark, fish, it was so much fun especially feeding the dolphins and getting our picture on our special selection of the photo with a dolphin, wonderful choices at the gift shop and even had an amazing place to eat. Spent hours here just walking around a couple laps. Even got to pet the sting rays. There were many other adventures we just didn’t have time to do them all

Nice aquarium to visit. The artwork and the exhibits are great quality. You get a great view of the sea life that they in the rehabilitation tanks.

An amazing place to visit! My third time here and each visit never fails to make a lasting impression. Getting up close to so many wonderful animals is a humbling experience.Highly recommended.
Mark C — Google review
You definitely want to plan your visit around shows and exhibits. It was very empty when we visited towards the end of the day. The concession stands all closed about an hour before the aquarium closed—which was rough with hungry kids. We also got turned around and had a very hard time navigating the aquarium. There was not much staff to be found. We did have wonderful interactions with staff when they were around. It was petty expensive for what WE got out of the visit but we just equated it to helping with marine life conversation. However, between paying for parking and admission you will definitely want to get there early and have activities timed out to ensure you get a full experience.

This is a must while visiting Clearwater. Great for the kids or a nice day date. The staff is very friendly and helpful. They offer experiences that you won't find often. You can play with the dolphins or feed the stingrays. We had a wonderful time!

The Tarpon Springs Sponge Docks offer a unique experience where visitors can explore the historic sponge industry, dine at authentic Greek restaurants, and shop for handmade soaps and sponges. The docks have been in operation for over 135 years and are lined with creaking sponge boats along the Anclote River canal. Visitors can stroll along Dodecanese Boulevard, where they'll find a mix of souvenir shops and Greek eateries bustling with crowds.
Took my mom on the Odyssey dolphin tour to Anclote Key State Perserve to look for shells and enjoy the beach. We found lots of shells and enjoyed the island. This trip was around $25 and worth it. They have drinks for sale on the pontoon boat. The tour guide did a great job explaining the area. We even saw one of the divers looking for sponges.

We went in mid-January (so off season) but thoroughly enjoyed the scenery without the crowds. You can feel the influence of Greece in all of the stores and restaurants aligning the docks. People were super friendly and our meal and service at Hella's was top notch. Recommend stopping in just for the experience if you're in that area of central Florida.

Take a step into Greek culture in this quaint Greek Town of tarpon Springs. Friendly people Amazing Fresh Foods and so much history. This def is a slice of Greece right here so authentic makes you feel like you’re really there. Wide variety of Greek foods gyros, spanakopita and let’s not forget their amazing fresh baked breads and desserts. Shopping here is great too from fresh sponges and so fresh they even still smell like the ocean lots of unique finds here. They even offer a boat ride out to where they harvest the sponges. Another amazing thing is if you’re a movie buff like me they filmed some scenes of the movie Dolphin Tale here. Definitely a must see. Happy Exploring!!

Weeki Wachee Spring, located along the Weeki Wachee River in Florida, is a magical destination known for its live underwater mermaid shows that have been captivating audiences since 1947. In addition to the mesmerizing mermaid performances, visitors can enjoy activities such as boat tours, swimming in the crystal-clear waters, kayaking to spot wildlife like manatees and dolphins, and zooming down waterslides at Buccaneer Bay waterpark.
Amazing experience! We loved the mermaid Christmas show. Doors open 30 minutes before show start. We got in line early to get front row seats. After the show we got a photo with the mermaid and walked around. The water is clean and in the 70s. Today was a beautiful day and wished we brought our bathing suits and towels to hang. Many of the shops were closed. Will come back for sure!

This is a FANTASTIC state park. Attractions are kid and family friendly, the shows run on time, the admission price is reasonable, and the restaurants and bathrooms are clean!Admission as of 9/2023 is adult (13+) - $13, Kids (6-12) $8, kids 5 and under Free.Get a map and schedule upon entrance and make sure you see the Ranger show, Mermaid show, and boat ride. Fill the time swimming in the lagoon, floating down the lazy river, or riding the water slide.

The mermaid show is the fun part for all the kids. Manatees watching by boat ride is not to miss. Water rides are another attractions for kids. Must go for first time.Tip:Plan for spending 3-4 hours and go early in the morning and try to grab the early mermaid show as the lines get longer later. You want to get the center seating spot in the show.

Very nice area to float and kayak! Water is super clear, and you can see the bottom most of the way. A lot of fish and wildlife and we even seen a manatee! Hospital hole was pretty cool, and it looked like it went down a good ways! All and all pretty chill experience, and we'd love to do it again!
Haven D — Google review
This is such a cute place to take your kids! The mermaid show is so fun and entertaining! Although, the park does close early. There are only two water slides, but there's free lemonade and water! There's a lot of lifeguards and the place is very secure. There's also a little kids pool which is a bit boring and lame, but it's still fun for kids!! There is a food stamp and snacks, also a store. It has such cute little bathing suits! The bathrooms are so clean! The sand is nice and clean. The water is also nice and clean but the water is cold. The food is not really expensive. There's also a bar. There's a lot of trees and there's even kayaking! But that's in a separate place and you have to pay a separate amount of money for it. Overall, I would recommend this place! Just that if you're going to go to the water park side, make sure it is a WARM DAY! Or else you WILL BE COLD.❤️🩹

We had a good time, we did the boat tour and checked the beach area out. We did miss the Mermaid show because we got there late and essentially had to choose between the boat tour and the Mermaid show.

Absolutely beautiful spring! The water is crystal clear. Great place to bring kids and family to swim and have a great time. Nice sandy area and relaxing chairs to lay down on put your stuff down. The water slide is only open on the weekends, and they have mermaid shows every day at 11:00, 1:30, and 3:00. Very nice spring in Florida to come to and have a great time.

It's very economical, the good thing is the food options. Slides are closed on weekdays. Something that we missed. Mermaid show, ranger show and the boat ride is what we did. We had good food options that we enjoyed, and did some swimming in the end.

Had a nice time here with our 4 year old daughter! Unfortunately, the water park was closed for the season, but we enjoyed the famous mermaid show and other activities like the boat ride (we came so close to the manatees!). Overall, it’s a great park, parts are a bit dated but the park seems to have a lot of history. The playground was also a nice touch! We were pleasantly surprised by the food quality from the cafeteria/ restaurant.

So much fun and so beautiful! My kids and I had a blast. You can bring coolers into the park. The spring water is chilly, but not too bad. My favorite part was swimming out to the floating doc, looking down into the water, and being able to jump in.

This place is truly incredible. Beautiful beyond words. I highly recommend not parking at the beach but rather park at the state park entrance and walk to the beach, not only is this a stunning walk but you also avoid the parking fee. Many people chose this and we are definitely glad we did. Get here before 10 am to avoid most of the crowds that follow in after. Lovely nature walks and also perfect for bike riding. Bring your camera for sure.

This is a beautiful shaded park for biking, walking, or gathering as there are plenty of trails and picnic tables and lots of green space. I used Picnic spot #3 and it was perfect for a large gathering with two extra long charcoal grills and 5 picnic tables under a shelter. Very shaded, directly across from the playground/restrooms, and even had a beautiful view of the water! The picnic shelters are first come first serve, unless they are reserved. You will have to walk or drive the long connecting access road to get to the beach from the park. The beach has restrooms and pay to park. No dogs allowed on the beach, but I was able to walk my fur baby along the road going up towards the beach and she still had a good time in the water.

This is one of my favorite go to beaches while visiting Florida. It's so peaceful and beautiful out at the beach. The palm trees give shade for those who don't like to spend as much time in the sun. I can't say anything about the trails at this park since I've never walked them, but everything looks like it is very well kept up. If in the area I recommend checking it out. FYI you have to pay to park at the beach area. There are restrooms where you can change out of your clothes at too.

I was an artist participating in a Paint Out. My friend and I found a scenic view to paint. There was a picnic table nearby just off the gravel trail. There are 2 separate visiting centers, one right off the main road which has a nice gift shop and restaurant and you can ride boat or tram from the first location. The second visitor center is closer to the wildlife area and water. Both areas are beautiful and have plenty of parking. The park closes at 5:30pm. Tram runs every 15 minutes. Definitely recommend checking this park out.

Beautiful place. Boat worth the 3$ one way. The tram is free or you can walk the 3/4 mile to the site from tbe welcome center. It takes about 3 hours to see it all if you take your time. Walking is easy and wheelchair accessible. Very clean.

A hidden gem. The atmosphere was homey and the various animals were interesting to see some being rehabilitated to be released back into the wild. The resident 60 year old hippo was totally unexpected.

Great place to take the kids and see some animals. The park entrance is 13$ por person adult and 5$ kids under 11 years old. I really had a great day with my family there.

While it is pretty at times, the park needs some help. It was not worth the price to us. You can easily park at I believe the west entrance and just walk into the area with the animal part. You don't have to go to the visitor center and take the boat or the tram. The boat only takes you through a little creek. The animals have small enclosures and there is not many to see. It was honestly kinda sad. Two manatees in the sick tank area was it. If you go make sure your going late November if you want a better chance at the manatee. We didn't even see the four manatees that live year round in the park. Reptile room is one small room with one fat cotton mouth and about 5 other enclosures. Fishbowl is going to undergo renovations it looks like. Kennels for your dog at the visitor center was a major plus. If you need to get out of the house with the kids this would probably keep them entertained. Easy to walk with strollers. Snack areas and bathrooms at both entrances.

You can find all your answers here before coming here. This place is so amazing to see one of the natural springs in Florida. Firstly, it's open all day, basically from sunrise to sunset, which sounds great! It's a perfectly clean environment with amazing natural sounds. Summertime is always packed, so I was able to visit in October, which made me feel like I was the only person in the state park. The weather here is a bit colder than in South Florida. The swimming pool area is a bit small, so it could be a problem during the summer for accommodating everyone. There's not enough flat space to sit on the ground for a picnic, but they do have a pavilion and a cafe. The restroom is close to the pool area. If you like, you can also do canoeing 🛶 or kayaking. Last but not least, it's $2 per person. Here's all you need:⭐️ Bring a noodle; the water is a bit deep, but you can feel secure.⭐️ Tubes are not allowed 🚫.⭐️If you have a cart, keep in mind that parking and the pool area are about a 5-minute walk away.⭐️Bring your snorkel 🤿 or goggles 👓.⭐️I highly recommend bringing a wetsuit if you have one; the water is around 72 degrees all year.⭐️Be ready to take amazing pictures!

This is a hard one to review. We are happy we visited once but we wouldn't go again unless we lived nearby and then it would be for the park as much as for the beautiful springs. The entry fee was only $1 per person when we visited due to a limited discount by the governor. Normal admission is $2 per person. Can't complain about that. You are limited to what type of floats you can bring in so make sure to read about that. The main thing I would address is the fact that the swimming area is over your head the entire space. I saw a man step off the steps and down he went totally not expecting to go over his head. He was surprised. Also, many parents had children that did not have appropriate floats on. Because of not being able to touch bottom and the coldness of the water, most people just crowded around the dock and all the stairs and steps were blocked most of the time. We enjoyed going in the water and had pool noodles that we brought in. They are allowed. But, it is nice to be able to put your feet on shallow spots in most of the springs we visit. If I had children I wouldn't go here when there are so many other springs that have shallow areas. The park itself is absolutely beautiful, with waterfalls and a very nice paved walkway that is a 2.5 mile loop. Definitely worth a visit....or several.

This was a beautiful hidden gem! We were extremely surprised by the cleanliness of the park and it was a great place to spend the whole day! The water was SO clear i felt like i was swimming in an aquarium. The water is pretty deep so if you or your kids are not great swimmers i recommend life jackets or floaties. I wish i could come back and bring a paddle board to further explore. There is also a short hike trail that is paved to go see some small waterfalls. It was pretty crowded on a Sunday afternoon in the middle of July but we didn’t mind.

Beautiful spring fed river. If it hasn't rain it's very clear- blue-green in color. Temp stays about 60-65 degrees so very refreshing in the Florida heat! Some natural wildlife. We went in via the tubing for the National Park ($26/person) where they drive you upriver drop you off and you float back down. They will allow you to keep your keys at the cabin where they load everyone up. If you want to pay extra for a cooler tube, a double tube you have to do it at the cabin or when you drive up to purchase tickets at the parking lot (no extra cost for parking). Snacks also available at the cabin. No disposable water bottles allowed on the river. Lasts about 1.5hr-1.75hr depending on water flow.

We went tubing down the spring. Super relaxing and beautiful. Water was crystal clear!! Staff were amazing. For the price, you get the tram and tubes. For the three of us, it was around $84 for about 2 hours of floating down the springs. I'm definitely going back!! We also went to the headspring to swim, but it was at capacity. So we waited a couple of hours and went back. Unfortunately, the swimming area was closed due to lightning. If you want to go swimming, I recommend you get there early as it fills to capacity fast. Overall, it was a great experience!

This place is AMAZING. Beautiful. Spectacular. We rented a kayak and got dropped off up stream from there we paddled to the state park and jumped in the water and paddled downstream to the rental place/blue gator. Paddling up to the state park took about 30ish minutes paddling downstream took about 2 hours so be prepared, being lots of sunscreen and go early in the morning!!!! The wind is not fun to paddle against. If we were to do it again we would’ve gone out at 9am instead of 1pm!!! But overall Excellent Experience!! 12/10

Three Sisters Springs is a stunning natural attraction located within the Crystal River National Wildlife Refuge. It's open to the public from mid-November to late March and offers a chance to view manatees in their natural habitat. Visitors can access the 57-acre preserve by land or water, with opportunities for kayaking, canoeing, and wildlife viewing along a quarter-mile boardwalk and over one and a half miles of nature trails.
This is such a beautiful place to kayak and snorkel. You can't get on the rocks or the land but you can jump out of your kayak and snorkel around. We then used a rock that was out in the water to hoist ourselves back into our kayaks. We also kayaked around out in the river and saw manatees out there. Definitely would like to come back and swim in this area again in the future after they open back up.

We have mixed feelings about this. We loved the manatees, the springs the clear water. The boardwalk around it is nice and clean, I believe the refuge area are trying to do a good thing. We would love to be able to interact with the manatees but we don't. It's for their own good. We understand. I'm guessing the park people are volunteers. A little unorganized it the entrance. Maybe having a bad day,but no problems. Beautiful area. The BAD. the commercialization is very sad, there were over 100 swimmers in the springs with these manatees. Commercial pontoon boats lined up in the canal dropping off and picking up swimmers. It's disappointing. Such a beautiful natural area being corrupted like this is sad. I'm glad the refuge is mostly protected, but I wish they would make it off limits to swimmers and companies doing this.

If you look carefully while riding across the bridge, you might be able to spot manatees swimming through crystal clear water under the bridge. We parked the car, walked back, and were blessed to see a mother and baby gliding along. ☺️ They were on their way to join a whole community farther along, up near the shores of the Ellie Schiller State Wildlife Park. What a very special experience!!

We boated here from Pete’s Pier which was challenging in the wind. We saw a few manatee on our way over and loved the springs! There’s a lot of monitoring of the space and it was pretty crowded. Today there was only one manatee there so we must’ve just missed the season (today is April 4th and the season typically ends around 3.31). Either way: clean, gorgeous and magical!

We had scheduled a boat trip to see the manatees, but came here first. In walking around the boardwalk and seeing so many, we canceled our boat trip. This preserve is beautiful. I love that the waters are roped off completely to keep people out of the waters to leave the manatees alone. It was really exciting to see some young calfs in there too.

I love this spring. We spend our 32nd anniversary here. We walked around the whole place and enjoyed seeing some manatees, Aligator, and people Snorkling with manatees. The water is so clear and so inviting. We also had an opportunity to attend a botanical tour and learned about different types of plants that are around the park it was very informative. I highly recommend this place to visit. If you decide to come, make sure you read the website. This place is part of National Wildlife Refuge.See all the photos attached for prices. If you have a National Park Pass and Military ID, it could save you half of the prices of the general public entrance fee.

Excellent, excellent, excellent! In January and February, this is the place to see manatees! In most places, you are so far from the manatees that all you see is bumps. Here, they can be just a few feet away (if you are lucky). The boardwalk goes all the way around the hot springs and part of the inner coastal where they hang out.

Very cool to see so many manatees so close. The park is very confusing to get into. You have to pay, drive down the road, park and walk back to the manatees. Terrible set up. They had clean restrooms. They had staff there to answer questions. It was very crowded so don't expect a peaceful stroll. Nice accessible pathways with ramps.

Absolutely beautiful. Kayak in and swim in the crystal clear water. Its a little cold but you get used to it. Even swam with a manatee. Definitely recommend!

Beautiful place definitely worth visiting. We launched our paddle board from Hunter’s Springs Park and paddle to the springs, it’s a super chill paddling, we were lucky enough to see some manatees. The springs were beautiful, you can swim as long as you don’t touch the rocks nor tie your vessel to any tree or sign. There are volunteers there making sure that no one does it. After that, we kept paddling and we went to King’s spring, there’s a bar around there where we had a snack before coming back to Hunter’s Park
